Pisa Cathedral (Duomo di Santa Maria Assunta)

A medieval Romanesque cathedral at the heart of the city.

An architectural jewel of the Piazza dei Miracoli, this cathedral was founded in 1063. Its facade is made of grey-and-white marble, and the interior features a stunning gold ceiling and the famous pulpit by Giovanni Pisano.
