Knights' Square (Piazza dei Cavalieri)

The political heart of medieval Pisa.

Once the headquarters of the Order of the Knights of St. Stephen, this square features the Palazzo della Carovana with its intricate sgraffito facade. Today, it houses the prestigious Scuola Normale Superiore.
