The Viktualienmarkt is a vibrant open-air market that has been operating since 1807. Spanning over 22,000 square meters, it features more than 140 stalls selling fresh local produce, exotic fruits, flowers, cheeses, gourmet delicacies, and traditional Bavarian snacks. At its center lies a popular beer garden beneath a traditional maypole.
