Elbphilharmonie

Iconic modern concert hall built atop a historic brick warehouse at HafenCity.

Opened in 2017, the Elbphilharmonie is one of the world's largest and most acoustically advanced concert halls. Its glass superstructure resembles a floating wave or sail, sitting directly on top of a 1960s brick warehouse on the Elbe River. Visitors can access the public Plaza observation deck for panoramic views of Hamburg's harbor.
