Hotel Pikassaria occupies a converted 18th-century farmhouse standing in its own garden at the foot of La Rhune, about 3 km outside the village of Sare. Each room is individually decorated and looks out over the Basque countryside.
Bedrooms reflect the style of the region and come with a private bathroom and TV; several have been adapted for guests with reduced mobility.
A generous buffet breakfast is served every day and can be taken in the room. The on-site restaurant serves Basque specialities alongside a selection of local wines, with meals moving out to the terrace once the weather warms up.
